One of these shows on the discovery channel…the guy would buy and fixup old classic vehicles. What he was selling would be basically a new/old vehicle. Modernized…with updated suspension, brakes, ignition…fuel injection. One episode they bought a 66 Camaro from a junkyard. It was a piece of sh*t. They paid $6,000…and that was just for the body. No motor, tranny, suspension. The had it dipped and then went and replaced almost everything (floor-pan, quarter panels, fire-wall…etc…etc). It can be done…but at what cost. And is it worth it. They spent $15k in the Body steel alone. Another $25k for the rest. It sold at auction for over $50k.
