Running gags of the past

A couple of weeks ago the name of Tom’s friend Les Block from Minneapolis came up in passing. Has enough time passed that newer listeners could use an explanation of the reference?

How about other names and phrases familiar to regular listeners:

“You can’t do it unless the number is two” (with added echo effect).
Arup Gupta.
Kathy with a K or Cathy with a C?
The inky shadows of a dimly-lit quonset hut.
“Goodbye, My Coney Island Baby”.
The explanation of “Cambridge: Our Fair City”.

The list, in all probability, goes on.

Sadly, it won’t be long before the show with the explanation is rerun.

Don’t drive like my brother,
Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha laugh track?
