On a 1989 FORD F150 Pick-Up, what is the procedure for removing the windshield wiper cowl, to get at the wiper’s linkage and removing the wiper electric motor? I was able to lift the chrome molding on the windshield enough to free up the rear part of the cowl, but I can’t seem to lift the cowl up past the hood and hood hinges. Is there a trick to doing this job, or does the hood have to be removed first inorder to remove the wiper cowl?
