“A recent study shows . . .”
Unless you post a link to the study, we have nothing but your word to go on.
Who did the study? Who paid for the study?
We need to know these things.
I posted my list of “cars you’ve owned” a few weeks ago when this was a hot topic. I’ve owned imports and domestics. But mostly imports. The interesting thing is, except for a 1991 Pontiac LeMans (Built by Daewoo), I’ve never owned a GM vehicle.
I’ve had a couple of Dodge Darts, and a couple of Grand Marquis/Crown Vic’s, but no GM products.
Otherwise it’s been English cars (Sunbeam Minx, Imp, and Alpine), then Japanese. Toyota, Mazda, and now Acura (Honda) and Subaru.
If I were shopping for a new car today (which I’m not), I’d be looking at a Mazda3 hatchback, a Toyota Corolla sedan (really hard to beat), a Ford Fusion, and a Chevy Malibu (nice looking car). I might throw in a Hyundai, but I’d probably go with one of the other four.
I don’t believe there’s a connection between my political philosophy and my car buying habits.
Politics it politics. Cars are cars. There is no connection.
