I have a 2001 Camry…the radiator fans keep rotating even when the ignition is off and the key is turned to the ON position.
It should normally stop rotating after a few seconds when the ignition is on at cold temp right? This time it just keeps going…
What may be the problem? Help me
It depends on the temperature. If it is hot, it may continue to run for some time to cool the water enough so it is safe from boiling over from the heat still in the engine.
That could be longer than just a few seconds. It would normally be maybe five minutes.
It happens in the morning (the car hasn’t run all night) when I turn the key to the ON position (No ignition)…the fans just rotate and never stops.
The fan is run by a relay. Could be the relay is faulty.
