hi i have a '91 toyota extended cab pickup. has been losing coolant over last 3 months . needs daily top up, only several cups. not visible vapour out tail pipe. have been told maybe head gasket problem or possible cracked head. still good power no discernable loss. thanks appreciate your feedback.gareth fairbanks alaska and new zealand too!
How about the pressure cap, has it been tested or replaced? Has it been pressure tested?
Or have a compression test.
How does the oil look? High and like a milkshake? Are the hoses good, under pressure they may leak through a pin hole.
My bet is a head gasket ot cracked head.
