R title - 2012 Chevrolet Sonic

Hi I own a 2012 Chevy sonic. One guestion it’s an r title. Can you let me know what the disadvantage of having this is

First it is not worth anything near what an undamaged vehicle is. The R title means at one point it was declared a total loss by the insurance company. Once rebuilt and inspected it is changed to R title. This is one of those web search things. Just a few seconds on Google I found a comprehensive article by Auto Trader that explained the reasons why one should avoid such a vehicle.

Your resale value will probably be somewhere around 50% of the same car with a normal title, for what that’s worth.

That will reduce your fuel economy. Well, not really, it may have an effect on the availability of full coverage insurance.

My car has very little value, I don’t see any advantage in owning a more valuable vehicle unless you are going to visit a title loan agency.

I bought a salvaged title car for a discount? Good.
I bought a salvage car for avg retail? Bad
MY salvage title car runs great. No issues. Good.
My salvage title car has many issues. Bad
