You think you have not burned any oil because your misfiring spark plugs are sending unburnt gasoline down into the crankcase.
Well if that was the case oil levels would rise, right? So no. I just wanna solve the fouling spark plugs problem as it seems to be the causing computer faults to come on. The first thing I wanted and the reason why I have opened this topic is to make clear if I could fix the problem just by replacing the sensors which turned on computer faults or the problem is just of some other sort as it seems to be (fouling spark plugs)
Have you taken it out for a 1 hour drive at freeway speed? That should be enough to boil off any accumulated gas and water in the oil. Then check the level.
Actually, I did a few months ago, twice, but I didnāt check the oil level right after that, it probably accumulated since then. Will do that, thanks for the tip!
Not necessarily, the gasoline thins the oil making it burn faster so the volume might stay the same but gasoline is not a good lubricant.
