I watched it a couple times…Not a fan.
So got the engine compression tested and 4 cylinders were at 75psi. Pulled the heads and water was definitely flowing out. Tested all the valves and almost all have leaks.
With that if the head needs to be machined and to do replace all the valves will cost more then a manufactured head that already has the valves fully installed.
If anyone has any other ideas but don’t think it is even worth getting the heads checked since the cheapest valves I can find already cost more then a manufactured head.
Should I be concerned the block is compromised before spending anymore money?
Well got remanufactured heads that included valves since that was cheaper option then machining and a valves.
Got the heads on and smoke from the right side. I want to say coming from the exhaust flange but could also be from the head or exchaust manifold. Need to do another pressure test but wanted to see if anyone could provide more insight on the intake potentially being the issue.
