I’ll be doing the work on the Forester but will take her Impreza to the dealer for anything other than oil changes and maybe brake pads during the warranty period. Then I’ll have the fun of doing

Many don’t agree with this , but I always use the dealer for oil changes and required service during the warranty period . That way there is a real record of it being done . The extra money is what I call a cheap insurance policy .
