I’m really happy I revived this ancient thread
It wasn’t spam as texases said
I just wrote that blog and I wanted to share with you and maybe you guys give me comments about it but yeah they removed it sadly. I thought it was relevant. I’m really happy this ancient thread is active again.
Some members get upset when people add to an old thread. There is a small group here who specialize in rejection.
You revived a 13 year old thread and the Moderators decided it was Spam and removed it and you are Happy ?
I really don’t even think the mods even read the post that is flagged, seems like if flagged, it gets deleted regardless…
I would like to see how that behind the scenes process really works…
I’m happy this thread revived , im not happy they removed it! what can you do
yeah I think they just removed it regardless of context
Did you have a web link to a business ? If so that is going to get removed . Plus the original person who started this thread have not been here in years so your post was kind of pointless .
It is a little different when a 1st time poster posts links to a business no matter the content then someone that has made 10,20,1000+ post helping others, and then post a link to help a current thread, if you have been making lots of post with real help toward others in help for a while, that makes a difference…But coming right out of the gate with very few words and then dropping a link, you gonna get called out as a spammer, it looks like you are only here to boost a/your business…
Good luck moving forward and hope to hear some real help from another representative from middle TN…
Flags can hide it, but I think only moderators can delete it.
It was link of a blog about used Porsche 911
Post deletion here is a bit of a mystery. I had a post deleted recently. In it I asked if pro-active flexible brake hose replacement is recommended. Apparently that isn’t allowed … lol …
No, it isn’t a mystery
Several of us have had posts deleted in the past few months
And I’m pretty sure I know the few people that had something to do with it
Your post had a link to a place that sold brake hoses so it was called Spam . Just that simple .
If you’ll agree to ask the moderators re-post my deleted flexible brake-hose post, I’ll agree they should repost one of yours too, your choice which one.
It does not work that way . You can contact them yourself but like I said your post had a business with it and this Forum is not likely going to care much for free advertising . Give up and move on .
I don’t think that is possible or practical, you can start a new discussion, but someone will object.
In the past the moderator had removed questionable links from posts, a link is not a valid reason to delete a complete discussion. Perhaps some people lobbied for the removal, there was a time when some members called upon the moderator every day to take action against others.
Nope
Not going to happen
Let’s just move on
