Years ago I had a good friend who owned a plumbing supply house in Brooklyn who had t shirts made up for all his workers that said “ your sh*t puts food on our table”.

My wife is in a Bunko group. One of the members loves it when she hears that people flush anything but TP down the toilet. Her husband is a plumber and flushing baby wipes, facial tissue, etc. down the toilet clogs it. The more you flush, the better the car she gets.

The medical clinic I use has some sort of device in the commodes that prevents flushing of wipes or feminine hygiene products. Local TV station did a report on “Brown Friday” vs “Black Friday”, lots of plumber call for people pouring the wrong stuff down their sinks after Thanksgiving.
