I have the 1997 F250 Light Duty that broke down a year ago sitting here. It got busy and also none of the people I contacted to come get it were ones I wanted on my property. Anyway, I got someone reputable coming to get it in about a week. They won’t be casing my property for stuff to steal for drug money.
Anyway, the terms are that he will come get it for free as long as the catalytic converters are on it, otherwise it won’t be worth his time. He said if I wanted anything else off this truck, go ahead but just leave the cats.
I am not going to make a career out of this but figure if there is anything else that might work and be a good spare for my other truck, I should grab it real quick. My gut tells me that there is very little that would interchange but does anyone have any idea if there is anything worth pulling as a spare? Both are manual transmission 4WD trucks. The 1997 is a 4.6L and the 1999 a 5.4L. I know this thing has a lot of great parts on it but don’t want to keep something I don’t have a use for. So far I have the LED headlight bulbs which were not cheap that will fit the other truck but that is all I can see from what I have found.
Thanks.
