I imagine cooking on your car engine will not work so well on an EV 
The normal operating temperature of an EV’s inverter is ~140 degrees, so it would be just a little bit less hot than a slow cooker/crock pot.
Not so easy to do on many modern gas cars, either, with their large engine covers and wires/hoses everywhere. Don’t have ready access to two hot exhaust manifolds:
