low oil sensor in oil pan bad… tell computer to kill engine disconnect this and try again need new sensor ?/
If you have the owners manual see if there is anything in it that pertains to the oil level light and its function. I know for a fact that my 2000 Impala low oil level will appear in the info center when oil level is low but does not disable the car. As previous stated your problem could be a shorted wire, bad ECM, something to do with security pass key who knows. But at this point it maybe best to take it to a dealer for diagnoses
