imo- in budget go for 4k to 5k miles interval or 5 months but check oil level and
add if needed,synthetic oil at winter months but in between regular oil is fine.
on my 3 cars-synthetic on winters and in between regular oil,check autozone,o reilly,advance auto, pep boys sales ads weekly and stock up,if regular oil change
cost about $ 30 give and take i do mine at $ 25 with full synthetic or about $14
with regular oil change with my own labor.
