When I was attending college back in 05 one of my classmates found a program for his laptop that worked just like a scan tool. It came with the OBD port connections for the car and not only read codes, but could also stream live data.
I never did find out where he got this nifty setup. Anyone ever known someone who had this or where to get it? Seems like a much cheaper option that spending several grand on a scan tool.
