Can you tell us if the noise is coming from… under the hood… underneath the car… inside the dashboard… from the rear of the car… ??

You probably have the problem with the camshaft gear making a rattling sound on start up. It goes away when oil pressure comes up. Google the Service Bulletin and you can read all about it. (T-SB-0087-09 - March 13, 2009) My 2009 Corolla occasionally does it in cold weather.
