  1. Have you checked auto parts stores for the tools? They have tools for loan. These might be too specific for the chain stores to have them, but you wonā€™t know unless you ask.

  2. Did you check the cost of removing, rebuilding, and reinstalling the steering rack? A fully assembled replacement might be cost effective when compared to the rebuild cost. If you buy the replacement rack, you can probably sell the parts you accumulated on line.

I believe this particular tool that I need is not available at any chain stores, but Iā€™ll have a look, just in case. Thank you for the suggestion. I have removed the rack myself. Wasnā€™t that hard. Fully assembled racks ainā€™t to be found in the US.
