Not sure what you seek with the “big brake” kit. I doubt very much that you’ll find any that have thicker rotor disks to better resist wear, only brake rotors with a larger diameter. Big brakes might require wheels and tires that are larger than stock size. I have not installed any brakes other than Mini parts on my car. While I have not taken my car to a racetrack, the stock brakes do work very well on public roads.
Minis are notorious for bad clutches.
Well I got my mini on Thursday 11/30/2012, I got an '06 Cooper S supercharged, fully loaded. I absoultely love it. I went and test drove a few over the past weeks. This was the one I liked the most. I thank all of you for the help. I’ll be all over the MINI forums as mentioned before looking for anything about the cars that I can even more.
