My 06’ Ford 500 has a tendency to accelerate just a little on its own when I 1st take it out of park…it will rev up slightly but enough to cause me to step on the brake a bit harder (instictevly). It only has 68000 miles on it and it has been doing this for about the last 30000 miles. At 53000 the a/c compressor went out and around the same time the engine strut (dampner) wore out as well. Are these things related?
