Vehicle has travelled 85,000 km by 2018. Engine misfires need to drive in sports mode after choke cuts out. mainly misfires under load or at lights so need to keep foot on accelerator in neutral to 1500 rpm. Am in South Australia.
Two things to do before you sink any money into this vehicle.
Have the codes read, if you’re lucky might be something cheap and easy.
If not something cheap and easy, have the compression checked, dry, wet, and leak-down, before going any further.
Your vehicle doesn’t have a choke.

Yes I know it “chokes” out, which I infer to mean it falls on it face. Gas or diesel.
