I’ve got a 2002 MINI Cooper S with 150,000 miles on it. It has a new transmission from a later model MINI. My cruise control now works only in 3rd gear. I asked the expert found elsewhere on the Car Talk site and he said that this was typical of MINI’s with transmission swaps and there was no known cure. Anyone out there know anything different?
