Yup, my wife tried to get me to buy a Metro, yeah right, got a Mustang instead.
My 91 Mustang should be in the drum brake thread. Those “superior” drum brakes on the rear axle would lock up if you looked the brake pedal wrong, slight exaggeration

When I was a kid growing up in Brooklyn in the 1950’s, my parents were friends with a gangster who drove a Bentley, which he kept in mint condition. On the occasions when he visited our house, I would always ask for a ride in that car and I loved it. The smell of the leather and the lack of rattles are things I remember almost 70 years later.
