LPG cars fuel in America?

You’re right. From the Freightliner web site:
“Freightliner Trucks offers factory-installed and warranty-covered CNG tanks in 60 diesel gallon equivalent (DGE) and 75 DGE configurations in the M2 112, installed back of cab. Factory-installed LNG options on the M2 112 include 119 and 150 gallon tanks which equate to 65 and 86 DGE respectively.”

The problem with LNG is that it continually vaporizes, have to do something with the vapor. That’s easy on a huge transport ship, not so much on a truck. They mush have some way to either burn it off or compress it into an auxiliary CNG tank, I guess.

Pilot-Flying J is adding LNG refueling equipment to their gas stations on the highway.

Yep, here’s an article:

And here’s the ‘Clean Energy’ summary of where they are:

They’re a company founded by Chesapeake and Boone Pickens.

Wonder how they pay fuel taxes?

LOL, I love this forum. The original post only had three words in it “I live in”. The title had “LPG cars fuel in America”, which is nonsensical. Yet we’ve managed to open up an entire conversation about the use of LPG fuel in America, even defining other hydrocarbon-based fuels.

I enjoy this forum immensely, but I sure wish I knew what the OP was going to ask.

Who cares? Wednesday only comes once this week. Let’s have some fun!

Agreed. Life is too short to be serious all the time.
