It’s a federal agency. One can argue whether or not it is politicized when they announce one set of figures then lo and behold find errors and correct them when no one is looking.
I’m into wealth maintenance now and don’t need to spend huge fees for active management. I’m also not sure that active fund managers are worth the extra they charged in the last 30 years. That’s why Vanguard attracted so many customers. Even big money sophisticated investors like Paul Allen use them for most of their wealth. Well, he did until he died in 2018.
