“acceleration quality”, please explain…are you talking about the rate of change in acceleration, “jerk function” or hesitation (seriously)
You also might post this on a Prius forum, more chance of finding someone who has had the problem.
at 105k miles it probably needs spark plugs and wires, transmission fluid service, timing belt and water pump replaced. Consult your owner’s manual for the actual information
If you live where it’s cold, then your gas mileage will suffer regardless.
