Lights at night

lights work fine during daylight conditions but when headlights are turned on manually or areturned on by low light sensors some turn signals and brake lights do not work properly

This initially sounds like a bad grounding problem involving the headlights, however there is not enough information for further diagnosis. For now, make a thorough check of all exterior lighting with headlights off to verify no bulbs are burned out and that all signals cycle normally.

Also, check all your fuses. Some running lights might get power back through the headlight circuit when a fuse is blown, but will act strange. Grounding and fuses are the most likely causes for this. Maybe a bad headlight switch or relay could be the culprit.
