Has CT done the puzzle of finding which of 3 switches turns on a light in a different location where you can turn the switches on and off as many times you like but you can actually go see the light only once to determine which is the right switch?
CT = Car Talk?
That’s an old puzzle, they have done it, I’m pretty sure.
OK - thanks
Maybe I should make up a puzzle of what CT means when posting on a Car Talk forum.
If anyone has an original referennce tto it - I’d appreciate seeing how they set it up.
Sorry, I get annoyed with people who use abbreviations that are not obvious. Yes, I figured it out, but it took a few seconds of wasted time.

If you had one of those cool laser IR temperature measuring gadgets, I’ll bet you could figure it out straight away … lol .

I don’t think I could have made it more obvious - but that’s just IMO

Only found the prison one via Google.
Is the answer from ‘the guys’ someplace?
Any idea of the date when they broadcast that puzzle?
Did you Google “car talk three light switch puzzler”?
Did you Google “car talk three light switch puzzler”?
Don’t recall – Google results vary depending on site used ()eg Google.fi - which it reverts to here now and then)) - often a result doesn’t show up till page 3.
In any case, wonder where the CT answer doesn’t show up - we know the answer but wanted to see how CT answered it.
