chaisso…from what I understand, The carb is not “dry” when it stalls. There is plenty of fuel in the bowl, just not enough to get picked up by the jet. Use the carb bowl drain if you have one as well…
That is why I use marine grade where the remaining fuel will other wise pick up moisture which can cause problems over time…Will it happen in one or two seasons ? Probably not, but I have personally seen the results over time using just regular stabil.
We in northern climate were hit first by this crap by summer storage of snowmobiles which were particular susceptible. Fuel injection is less so, especially in cars. But I take no chances. There are so many variables including humidity during storage.
In another year or two as you guys use only regular stabil , I don’t want to hear any whining when problems occur and those who prepared start saying…“I told you so…you cheap skates.” :=).
