Knitting in the car

This is for Christine who knits in the car…get circular needles. They are two needles connected by a length of cord, thus cutting in half the number of points that can jab you, and they come in flexible nylon (found usually in down-scale shops like WalMart). They are also made of bamboo and various metals but if you are truly worried about being impaled by airbags, nylon is the ticket.

Cheers,

Lissa

This matches my solution and I have been knitting with circular needles in the car (and at home) for years… have not experienced the ultimate test with the air bags but am sure that knitting needles will not add to the resulting discomfort associated with getting hit head on by the air bag.

More cheers,
Sally
