Hi I drive a 2002 kia rio cinco wagon 5 speed
I had my timing belt break back in november the dealership covered the cost to replace the short block. the day i got it back i was leaking oil i went back 3 or 4 times for them to repair. it stopped leaking on the ground then in February i got a new clutch not at the dealer (to save money) when they took out the old clutch it was covered with oil the mechanic said its not from the transmission side its from the other side.and if i dont get it fixed then my new clutch wont last a year. my question is the oil leak from the new short block?
If it is not from the trans it has to be from the engine, yes it is from the short block.
