I had my steering wheel changed and now I don’t have a horn. Can I get one installed on my dash easily or is this difficult to do(a button)? The wiring is suppose to be there inside the steering column too.
Why not just do it right. It appears it is the clock spring. Have you checked to see what a proper repair will cost? Why not go back to whoever botched the steering wheel change?
You can get a horn button kit online from J.C. Whitney. The button can be mounted on the side of the steering column. I installed one years ago on the 1950 Chevrolet pickup truck that I purchased for $110 back in 1972. This is a cheap way out if you aren’t concerned with how your interior looks.
