I drive a 2002 Infiniti QX4 SUV and I have began to hear odd noises while driving the car. Every time I drive over the slightest bump in the road I hear a squeeking sound. Its distinct and hard to explain but I think the issue may come from the suspension. Is that common with not only my vehicle but others as well? I have never had any issues with the suspension, or any work done on it.
It is extremely common for cars to develop suspension and steering noises with age, pretty much expected in fact. If it concerns you, have a complete steering and suspension evaluation performed by your choice of mechanic.
