The dealer service person told me that if I use their oil and filters - get my oil changes there at the dealership - it will burn much less oil.
Honda does NOT make motor oil. They never have. The Honda “Brand” oil is made by several manufactures over the years…Mobil and Castrol just to name a couple.
Honda also doesn’t make their filters. There are several suppliers for their filters…even Fram makes Honda filters.
Dealers always say that…That’s one reason why I NEVER EVER go to the dealer except for warranty work.
