I bought my car in 2005 and when lived in Utah and California it was a nice silent car. I moved to the midwest in November and ever since the terrible snow storms in Dec. my car makes loud noises whenever I drive it over 20 miles per hour the noises don’t stop until I’m under 20 mph. I’m not sure how to tell if it’s a loud engine, muffle, or transmission. Help!
Take it to a mechanic. Sorry about obvious advice however you really don’t have a great description of the sound nor any other pertinent info.
Without some description of the sound, it is really very difficult to even make an educated guess. More details, please.
