WRONG AGAIN. The cars entering the highway are NOT entering at highway speeds. There isn’t enough ramp for them to get much past 40. This is extremely congested traffic which you’ve obviously have never driven in. Try to learn something before you make comments on things you clearly no NOTHING about.
You are okay with someone “merging” onto an Interstate at 35MPH because you consider driving 70 MPH in a 70 MPH zone is speeding?
Just stop with your nonsense. I have seen this problem where entrance and exits were close together and the traffic was moving below the speed limit.
Maybe you and Clueless should start your own Blog or Forum.
Even in my stock Honda, I wouldn’t be able to press the gas pedal down one third of the way and be at 30mph. So I empathize in your case. I would be doing 30 in a 30, and depending on conditions, 35 in a 40 and so on.
Was the road in that example posted at 70mph?
In any case, if conditions (weather, traffic volume) permit, I onramp “like I stole it”! Fifty mph merges - at minimum - for me. Onramps and merging zones ain’t no place to dawdle.
A Clueless-TireWhisper forums?
You (among others here) wouldn’t be able to stand the amount of common sense on there!
Using the GAWR information off my own car and running the calculations, I demonstrated that the Honda-specified cold tire pressures exceeded the gross load for that car by approx. 115%, and that inflating more than 1-2psi higher than 32psi for that car is unnecessary.
Please explain how the above contribution to these forums “lacks common sense”!
HUH? What are you talking about?
What makes you think we’d visit your forum?
I know, right??
It would never be obnoxiously clubby or cliquey enough for the likes of Car Talk’s participants.
He’s a legend in his own mind.
Oh I would visit their forum. Then I could post about mowing my backyard with one front tire so low it would not measure on my gauge.
