I admit that sanity is relative, but the price of those things is insane!

They are all low mileage and probably babied by their owners. There are undoubtedly other SSRs driven by normal people at a much more reasonable price. ewilhelm, if you like the look of the SSR, check Chevy dealer web sites around the East Bay and see if they have any SSRs on the lot.
The Crossfire drop top has a minuscule truck with the top down and does not have a pass-thru. I’m not sure about the coupe.
