On cold mornings my heater blower will not engage until the vehical has ran for a period of time. Vehical kept inside, problem dosent occur. cleaned all the electrical contacts and still have the same problem. It works fine after its heated up but you never know when it will kick on during the drive.
The next time it is cold and the blower won’t kick on, give it a good whack with a rubber mallet or similar. If that brings any life to the blower then you probably just need to replace it. You can easily check for voltage at this time as well if you have a voltmeter or test light.
Thanks for the info, weve come to that conclusion after slamming the passenger door which caused the motor to turn on. Thanks again
What year model? Does it have automatic climate control?
