Hail to the Chief!

Bscar if you want to do this ,I’m not sure what models. go to the anarchist sites they can get you info(does the " Shotgun news" even exist anymore?) since my little problem with state and federal statues, I havent messed with the arcane and fun stuff for a long while
1911’s do climb-Kevin (bscar,do your clips include video?all I get is the audio )

They all have video, all youtube videos. It might be your browser acting up, I’m not sure.
Are you talking about shotgunnews.com? I just looked it up and they are still around

Probaly is my browser on this old desktop,I probaly ought to check the dot com site,I was referring to the old"Shotgun News" newspaper-Kevin

Only thing google brings up is the paper was used to find Sarco Inc. gun parts. Might have to dig deeper, but that’s about all I found

I’ve done lost count, one of the next things I would do is have a very hard look at the DOD and be very serious about closing a lot of military bases in Nato countries-Kevin

No.57(I think) would be a fair highway tax system{ was looking at the registration on my bosses little single axle 89 model truck[rarely used] almost $600 a year-this govt sure is anti business and we cant have import tariffs and we have all these stinking excise taxes?-Kevin

Ah,No.58-would an honest effort to educate people about quality of life and the burgeoning population on old mother earth, things ARE NOT FAIR NOW-WHAT ABOUT THE NEXT GENERATIONS? Do they deserve to live in a termite mound or ant hill?-Kevin

Sadly, more and more people are just interested in themselves and don’t care about anything else

Yup. The world’s two biggest problems are apathy and greed.
But hey, I don’t care as long as I get MY piece of the pie!

Are you the author of that bit of sarcasm, t-s-m? I will likely reuse it from time to time and may get called on it if I don’t know the source.

Yup. And you are welcome to use it.

Just use the media buzz words like “some experts agree” or “many people say” or “some people argue” to make it sound important enough

No.59-an agressive campaign to reuse and clean up old tires(tweels can be remanufactered to good effect) as for the greed and and all we have discussing, please read1Corinthains13:13-Kevin

The US economy is undoubtedly shifting toward a 3d world scenario of haves and have nots. That has appeared somewhat obvious to me for many years. Somewhere on this forum, possibly on this thread, I have expressed my concern for this country evolving into an economic de facto apartheid. This proposal

is the latest and one of the most blatant examples of the move in that direction. The wealthy desire an enclave for themselves where they can enjoy their wealth and pay only the taxes necessary for their own protection and comfort. Those outside Utopia can “root hog or die” as they say in Mississippi. Such Utopias would be in the dreams of the wealthy around the world.

@RodKnox
I could not agree more. They even have their own country. ( Kuwait) This is only possible with help from those in politics where more often then not, they come out as millionaires and/or connected and are well on their way. We all tout the two party system but both have been bought. Third ( and more) parties stand little chance of making inroads without run off elections. With them, everyone, even the average guy would be heard as it becomes more difficult buy the silence of everyone. Without them, the wealthy always sem to control the outcome. Look at gun control. Even minimal legislation that everyone could agree upon has had little support by the two parties in the past. The gun manufacturers have the military ( the NRA is just the scape goat ) on their side and no one bucks the military.

As you can see, there are plenty to keep happy.

Oh boy. Agree and disagree. I don’t agree with creating your own currency-seems to me Visa and Mastercard take care of that, but what’s wrong with creating a new city with its own taxes and ordinances? Happens all the time.

Man that park was a mess last time I was there. It was total garbage all over because the people using it had absolutely no pride and just threw the trash all over the place. In most places in Minnesota, the users of the place would be picking up the trash themselves. Its just a cultural thing.

I’m not wealthy but I probably pay 3-4 times the property tax to the city than the average city resident. Yet, I have never called the police except to report a problem at the bank after-hours, have never used the fire department, paid for my own road and sewer services, and so on. I also am the last on the list to get plowed out after a storm. I’m not sure why I should have to pay more than everyone else for services never used just because my house is bigger because I built it bigger myself.

I so agree,I do not know why this isnt blatantly obivious.Just please open your eyes people look around a little bit.Notice these subtle changes that will help no one but the wealthy.Right now I’m watching work on the highest inacessible airfield on the east coast ,obstructions are being removed for plane landings, must be planning on landing some pretty good size planes there(at basically taxpayers expense and believe me the top of that mountain is basically a rich mans club) the target seemss to be the standard middle class 40-70K income its frightening how much in taxes someone with over 100K in income pays.
There are other things going on,but thank God they seem to have lost momentum-Kevin

No.60-Consider incineration recycling if it displaces virgin fuel(why not burn the nasty oil bottles, rather then try to recycle them?) and politely ask the volcanoes to stop spewing so much CO2 into the atmosphere-Kevin

I’d set up a trash burning power plant to supplement electricity.
The biggest hurdle would be getting people to start sorting trash between burnable and non-burnable. Maybe charge double each month if they don’t sort their trash to offset the cost for hiring people to sort it at the plant.

Trash burning power plants are…ok, but not without their faults. They do pollute, regardless of what the official line is and they do create a traffic burden of all those trucks going in and out of the plants if not located strategically. We had a small town with a central power plant that was targeted for a waste plant. After a few local business people traveled around the country and brought back proof of it’s effects on different locals, they had to relocate it to a friendlier area…they are not a panacea but a necessary adjunct if done correctly.

IMO, there are lots of great ideas out there but as soon as short term for profit motivation surplanted execution, things fall apart and good ideas get a bad reputation. Trash burning power plants are just one example. Natural gas extraction is another. Do it right and everyone benefits. Try to extract money first instead of gas safely, and no one wins.
