Limbaugh almost doesn’t count, because I don’t think he really believes half of the stuff he says.
The problem is he has MILLIONS of followers who hang on every word he says…There are people on this forum who quote Beck and Limbaugh OVER AND OVER again…I can only assume that they are one of the FOLLOWERS.
MikeinNH, I aso worked on the team system. It burned me up on the"no smoking" in the shop policy. Some mechanics would take two fifteen minute cigarette breaks every hour.Out side the shop, of course.
Add that up per month, thats alot of lost hours and money.The management didn’t provide exhaust hoses for vehicles being worked on, so we breathed exhaust fumes {diesel was the worst}, but cigarette fumes were the politically correct fumes that were a no-no.

That’s pretty much view. We had an oilman, whose family made it rich off oil, who had many very personal and business connections to the Middle East, and was supposedly an expert on everything oil, as President for 8 years and gas is way more expensive now than it was in the 1990’s.
He promised to pressure the Saudis to “open the spigots” during his 2000 campaign and nothing happened.
The global economy is a complicated thing and there is very little any sitting President can do, as much as we like to blame them when things go south.

Dear CSA,…First off… I would like to comment on your “Obama Hating” attitude and your obvious denial of the facts… of global change. These changes are caused at least in part by human activity…of which vehicles, are major contributors. We here in Arizona have just expirienced the hottest summer and the coldest freezing winter in the past 30 years that I have lived here. Also, I would like to point out that President Obama has saved this Country from enconomic ruin. Other than that, I hope you are satisfied with Fox news deriding the facts surrounding these events…and that is what has led to your foolish statements on this subject.
Why bother conservatives with the facts. Their hero, Ronald Reagan tripled the national debt during his time in office. Deregulation has both monetarily and environmentally been a plague on this country every time it’s re-ushered in with each conservative, trickle down administration. We spend the next 8 years, just getting back to ground zero, only to suffer from enough memory loss to put supply siders back in office again. We don’t seem to have enough serfs until they get enough power.
I’m of course conflating supply-side economics with the politically rhetorical term “trickle-down economics”, both of which are proven false over and over again. Let’s dig a deeper hole.
