i have a 1991 ford explorer.when i crank it up,and the moter is cold.the lifters,make noise bad.when the moter get hot it go away.is there any snake oil out there,that will help.
Try adding a can of SeaFoam, Berryman B-12, etc. to the engine oil and see if that helps.
If a lifter, or lifters, are sticking due to age or grunge this could do the trick.
If the lifters are defective or just worn out don’t get your hopes up.
