Women called in earlier with a problem of windows fogging up on hr 10 yr old volvo - had this problem also and turned out the cabin air filter was plugged. It’s cheap and worth a shot!
Great alternative to the heater core!
unless theres a oily residue on the windshield
…and the woman with the fogged-up windows on last week’s show did state that she had an oil residue on the glass. That would tend to rule out the cabin air filter.
A Firmative. and ive seen badly plugged cabin filters that still allowed for good defrosting of windshield
Tom and Ray did not ask about a sweet taste. When I’ve had antifreeze leaks, I could taste the antifreeze in the air. Wouldn’t that be the case with a leaking heater core?
