It’s for a 1997 Chevy Cavalier. My dad and I took it to get inspected and the mechanic said all it needs is a leak fixed in the EVAP line to pass emissions inspection. My dad suggested we buy the Dorman Sending Unit Repair Line parts 800-229 and 800-230, as that piece is rusted out and he’s pretty sure that that’s the source of the leak.
The problem is that I couldn’t figure out whether part 800-229 or 800-230 is compatible with the Cavalier, and my dad is having difficulty accessing that piece to replace it, as there are a few other hoses and wires directly underneath it. Any help appreciated!
