Expedition death shake

2001 Ford expedition all-wheel drive develops a death shake but only sometimes on the interstate take the same way to work every day and after hitting a pothole will violently shake, that will stop if you slow down then you can resume up to speed and not do it again but only some days" replace upper control arm -lower control arm all four shocks idler arm _pitman arm _all ball joints stabilizer bar links __new tires- checked front bearings and CV axle , no play also replaced u-joints on front drive shaft and rear drive shaft and just checked torsion bar and bushings that are also fine…STILL HAVE SHAKE.!!

If you replaced all those parts, you must have had a four wheel alignment, correct? Please attach a copy of the most recent alignment printout. This should be after all parts were replaced.

Does this truck have a recirculating ball steering gearbox . . . ?

How about the steering damper?

Good ideas above. The only time something like that has happened to me is one time when the wheel lug nuts on a front wheel started to come loose, so double check those, all four wheels. Excess play in wheel bearings should be considered. A connection of a suspension system bracket to the chassis could have a broken weld I suppose. Broken suspension springs are often hard to spot, especially coil springs, and might contribute to this symptom.

I don’t have to print out but yes it had a four wheel alignment when we put the new tires on
