Exhaust leak?

You might have an exhaust manifold flange gasket that is starting to deteriorate.

Make sure all the exhaust manifold hardware is tight. Put a socket to the nuts/bolts and make sure they’re not loose. Don’t overdo it, though.

Also, make sure that there are no missing exhaust manifold/flange nuts or bolts. It happens.

Thanks DB…I am not even sure where the manifold is…but I will try to figure it out. I thought that if I couldn’t I would replace the exhaust system a little at a time. Starting with the gasket…
