Ethanol

i have an 06 sienna and a 98 camry. Any issue with using fuel that is 85% ethanol?

Yes. Anything more than 10% ethanol will damage your vehicles.

thanks very much for the information.

And you will get crap mileage. Ethanol is a subsidy for corn farmers. It decreases you mileage by 10%. It take more energy to grow, refine and distribute than gasoline. Not to mention it is not good for any standard car at any mixture ratio.

You can only use E85 fuel if the manufacturer explicitly states that you can. There are often badges on the car that tell you this (like on the inside of the fuel door), and the gas cap is yellow. It will also be clearly stated in you owner’s manual.
