I have a 1995 Chevy Astro Van AWD, 4.3L engine. I’m experiencing no engine restart after use. After do some driving around and van sits shut off for 1 /2 hour or so, while trying to start, engine turns over, but won’t start. After several attempts of cycling the ignition, van does start. Could take up to 10-15 attempts. I’ve had the battery, strainer, fuel filter and 2 fuel pumps replaced and problem still exists. This has been going on for over 1 1/2 months now and mechanics can’t seem to find the exact problem. Help is needed.
Thanks,
Don

You may be getting fuel injector leak down where fuel is leaking from injectors into the cylinders so that the engine is flooded. Next time try starting with the throttle pedal floored. If this works then leaky injectors are likely.
If it is the case, you might try running some good quality fuel injector cleaner for a few tanks (e.g. Techron or seafoam). If that doesn’t help the injectors might need replacement or reconditioning.
