Something I think applies to parts, we were having alternator issues on a T-Bird. Offered the choice of an alternator with a three month warrantee or an alternator with a one year warrantee. As far as I know there is no difference, just a slightly higher price for the longer coverage.
Went through a couple before the final fix, replace both the alternator and the battery at the same time.
I have a 2015 Rav 4 and change my own oil. Use either Wally World 0w20, Quaker state, Pennzoil, valvoline, once mobil. I change every 2 to 3K (I know it’s synthetic but it’s clean). I use mostly K&H filter or frams. my wife’s friend has a camry and goes 10K on the synthetic. I don’t as I like clean oil. I’ve got 47 plus on the car and have changed the trans fluid about 6-7 using Valvoline Max life or Super Tech VI ATF. Just bled my brakes this week too.
Your money to waste.
