Element brakes

I will be changing the front brakes on my wifes 2003 honda element. How will I get the caliper compressed. Is it a twist or just a compression?

standard,no screw in needed.

Yep, just compress it. I use a C-clamp when I do mine.

since you are getting into this you should buy a manual. ideally you should get a shop repair manual. they are pricey. as an alternative you could just get a haynes or chiltons.
